Song Selection & Genres

  • I have a 1000+ song list that I choose from, comprised of popular music from across the decades. I pick songs based on the crowd and atmosphere in the room. During the planning process you’ll have the opportunity to influence the song selections by previewing the list and indicating your favourites you’d like me to play, or your least favourites to avoid, if any.

  • Yes! You’ll have the opportunity to make 3 custom song requests. We'll have to agree on those... I'm not about to learn an acoustic version of Through The Fire And Flames by everyone's favourite band, DragonForce.

  • Live song requests are encouraged, adding an interactive element to the performance and ensuring guests' enjoyment.

  • My repertoire consists of music from the genres of Pop, RnB, Soul, Easy Listening, Oldies, Country, & more. If you have a particular theme or style preference, I’ll take that into consideration when choosing the songs. My main goal is to keep your guests singing and tapping along, and having a good time!

Special Requests

  • Yes! If you’d like to line up a particular song for a particular moment, we can work that into the plan.

  • I’m up for it! If you want to attempt this, keep in mind it will be done on the fly without rehearsal with the singer, but it can definitely make for a fun moment, no matter how smoothly (or roughly) it goes.

  • Right now, I sing primarily in English. I have a small handful of Spanish songs. Feel free to make a French or Spanish song request and I can see if I can do it!

  • Yes! If you have a particular theme in mind, I’ll select songs that best suit that theme. I’ve done parties with these themes before: 80’s, Country, Canadian Content, Crooner, and The Beatles. Feel free to share your ideas.

Logistics

  • I will require access to power and adequate shelter from inclement weather if outdoors. A bar height stool is nice to have available if possible, but isn’t required.

  • Yes, I provide a 2 speaker sound system that offers a comfortable sound coverage for up to 150 people in a medium size event space. A wireless mic is also available for your use for speeches or announcements.

  • Yes, I can transition locations. If at the same venue, please account for about a 25 minute transition time. If at a different venue, we'll have to account for a longer transition time.

  • I keep things at a comfortable and clear volume. Not too quiet where you can’t hear, not too loud that it’s overpowering. If the idea is to have people be able to carry on a conversation comfortably, I’ll set it up with that in mind.

  • Looking for an Ottawa wedding singer? I'm your guy. Not exactly in Ottawa, but love the vibe? No problem. I travel well.

    I perform at weddings and events in Ottawa and surrounding areas, including Kemptville, Smiths Falls, Merrickville, Perth, Carleton Place, Pakenham, Almonte, Arnprior, Chelsea, Wakefield, Gatineau, Aylmer, Luskville, Cantley, Quinnville, Renfrew, Calabogie, Carp, Mississippi Mills, Spencerville, Brockville, Kingston, Gananoque, and Prescott. 

    I'll travel as far west as Toronto/GTA and as far east as Montreal. There is an additional fee for any travel beyond the Ottawa area.

  • I perform at weddings and events all over Ottawa.

    East End Ottawa: Vanier, New Edinburgh, Rockcliffe Park, Manor Park, Beacon Hill, Orleans, Blackburn Hamlet, Rothwell Heights

    South End: Alta Vista, Heron Gate, Hunt Club, Riverside South, Findlay Creek, Greely, Manotick, Gloucester

    Rural and Suburban Areas: Carp, Richmond, Munster, Metcalfe, Vars, Osgoode, North Gower

    I'll bring the music and soul to any wedding or event across Ottawa.

  • My starting price includes up to 2 hours of live music (no breaks), with the option of adding more time. This typically covers a ceremony and cocktail hour if it’s a wedding.

  • Nope! You have up to 2 hours available to you at the basic level but if you only want 1 hour, I’ll make it an hour to remember. The starting price still applies.

  • If the performance time is under 2 hours, I can play straight through. If it’s over 2 hours, I start adding 10-15 minute breaks at every hour mark.

  • There will be a 50% non-refundable deposit required to book. The balance will be due 2 weeks prior to the event date. If you cancel prior to 60 days from the event date, the balance won’t be due. All the details will be laid out in a contract during the booking process.

  • I’m happy to hear the budget you’re working with. We can collaborate to see what we can make happen with it.
